So, who am I?

Well, I'm a bit of a swashbuckler. And by that I mean that I like to live my life with some zest and swagger. I'm seeking adventure, romance and danger. Well, come to think of it, maybe not so much the danger. But I really love life, laughter, and having a good time. And if we end up meeting in person, watch out because I will eventually dazzle you with the world's silliest knock-knock joke just when you least expect it.

I'm 6'3" 190 lbs, and have an incredible job that I love, if those things matter.

I'm 39 years old, but I still view life with the same sense of wonder and curiosity as I did as a 5 year old; still know how to flirt playfully like I did at 17; still take challenges head-on as I did at 22.

I'm an introspective extrovert. I'm alternately serious and silly. I like being around people, especially people who have an energy about them. So many great vegetarian foods to choose from! I love all types of Asian cuisine, especially Thai. Indian and Middle Eastern as well.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
I love all types of music, especially indie rock. Depending on my mood, I might be listening to rock, hip hop, jazz, old-school country or contemporary pop music. Favorite artists include Jeff Buckley, Arcade Fire, The Killers, Portishead, Placebo, Johnny Cash, old-school U2, and MGMT.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I work as a senior manager at a consulting firm. It's a great job, and I work with great people, and I love my job very much.

What terrifies you?
Tornadoes and Great White sharks. I have a fascination with both of them and would love to see each up close one day. Maybe take one of those storm-chasing "vacations" to see a tornado up close, and get in a shark cage to see a Great White.

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I'm in excellent physical shape. I am 6'3" and 190 pounds, right where I'm supposed to be for my height. I could use a little extra toning in some places but overall I'm pretty well toned. I run and work out regularly, and I love to play sports and go hiking in my free time.
