Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
I'm a sometimes wandering seeker in love with life, the earth and all her peoples. Other times, I'm a cuddle honey curled up in my too soft quilt. I take seriously my role as an earth steward, and that often plays out in the life I live, in the music I play, the volunteering I do, as well as the many outdoor "adventures" I enjoy.
As crazy as my path has been, I wouldn't give up an iota of it. I love good conversation, as well as learning anything and everything. I'd love to learn more about you!
Folks often laugh around me, and relax, too. I love silence as well as sound, and a pretty equal mix of alone as well as social time. Do you?
What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I hope you love the outdoors in all weathers, too, and believe in, and generally act with, earth stewardship.
And after all, we all have stuff! You're forgiving of yourself, as well as others (as I do, too).
And you're somebody who loves simple pleasures, like hugs, and greeting the morning with robins and the wind caressing your face...
And all of the wonderful qualities that make up you!
What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I would like to find a friend, who becomes a better friend, who then becomes a partner, lover and more. Level of physical intimacy ought to match the level of all the others-spiritual, mental, emotional..and so, therefore, no sex before monogamy. Somebody who already shares similar values and goals as I, but with enough differences to make things interesting.
What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
When I realized what an impact our diet choices made on our environment, our Earth and all her peoples, it was an easy choice to make - and still is. I've been vegetarian since 1989 (minus a year in the middle), vegan as much as possible for the last ten. Not fully vegan (because of the living situation - mom like american diner comfort food, when we eat out, and that's tough on vegans!), and will be when I live on my own again - after mom passes away...
What is your favorite Vegetarian food?
lentils and rice, with veggies.
Would you like to share a great (easy) Vegetarian recipe?
Sure - which one? :)
How about this, I found it on the 'net a few years ago;
Yummy Vegan Cheesecake
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
16 graham cinnamon graham crackers, crumbled
1/2 cup vegan margarine
1 tablespoon light Karo syrup
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
16 oz. Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese
1/3 cup sugar (or fructose)
4 EnerG egg substitute "eggs"
1 teaspoon vanilla
juice of one lemon
Ah!Laska vegan chocolate syrup
fresh raspberries
Directions:
Crust: Combine graham crackers, margarine (adjust amount as needed), Karo syrup, and flour in a bowl. Mix by hand and press firmly into a round pan.
Filling: Combine "cream cheese", sugar, "eggs", vanilla, and lemon juice in a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Pour onto crust.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes, until set (doesn't jiggle when you move the pan). Let cool. Place in refrigerator and chill for 12 hours.
Topping: You may use any kind of topping such as strawberries in syrup, chocolate, vegan whipped cream, etc. My personal favorite is drizzling the cheesecake in Ah!Laska vegan chocolate syrup and adding fresh raspberries. Mmm!

I hold many certifications in this direction.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Being out in the woods...just walking, hiking, or being. PLaying my guitar, reading. cooking, baking. Gardening. Sometimes, just sitting and doing nothing, too!

I grew up in this house in Lakewood, and it's been a journey, being back here.
Do you have pets? Tell about them.
Yes..it's more like, they have me, sometimes! All are rescues - Shaina (canine) and I have had a miraculous journey - she originally came to me very aggressive. 10 years later, she loves people! Simba (feline), is just a good ol' boy who loves his food, cuddles and litterbox - he's 20 yrs. old now! Annie and Thad (budgies aka parakeets) came to me when their owner wished to kill them, and nobody else would take them - they are good friends with each other, and a joy to watch.

Accepting folks for being just who they are.
What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Jumping off the east 9th pier when I was 16, into Lake Erie - in February!

A phone, a good knife and my classical guitar.
Your ultimate intimate dinner party would include which 3 guests (dead or alive)?
Christ, Buddha and Eleanor of Aquitane.
How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
Basically decent shape -I need to get out on the trails more. I also have a morning routine that includes yoga and more.
While looking at a person’s profile, following the picture, what are the first things you look for?
I try to get what they really care about.
