Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
I love dancing. Especially Lindy Hop and swing-type dances, though I also enjoy Polka (on occasion) and Cajun two-step (so difficult to find in Cali), and I could go on, but you must get the pic by now! :-) In addition to dancing you might find me at the movies or the library, or a museum, or maybe even on a plane traveling somewhere fantastic. You might pass me climbing a hill on my bike (but I'll probably catch ya on the downhill!). Maybe you'll see me at 60' underwater "swimming with the fishes".

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?

What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
I became an informed consumer and could no longer participate in the atrocities thrust on animals all in the name of eating "food" that is not necessary for survival.

What is your favorite Vegetarian food?
The new coconut milk line of ice creams are drool-worthy -- Peanut butter zig zag is my fave.

Would you like to share a great (easy) Vegetarian recipe?
Muhammara (kind of like hummus, spicy)
2 jars of roasted red peppers, drained
3/4 cup walnuts
clove of garlic, halved
3 tbs olive oil
2 tbs fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp each red pepper flakes and cumin
salt

process first three ingredients til smooth, add remaining ingredients and process again til smooth.

serve with pita or crackers

Do you follow any other healthy lifestyles (yoga, etc.)?
I like yoga, but I have a difficult time making it "stick" in my day-to-day routine

I actually participate in triathlons, though you can't tell from my "extra padding", so I swim, bike, and run (hate the running part!)
