I believe that being happy is the purpose of my life. Happiness is a state of being, and cannot truly be obtained through activities. That being said I am constantly striving for happiness. Becoming a vegan has been a step towards happy. I was a vegetarian for 15 years and have been vegan for 7 months, now. I have found that it's more of a big deal for others, than it is for me. I am tired of that..
I have been trying to lose weight forever, but have recently been able to lose 30lbs. This has been a huge step toward happy. I try to be active, but it's not much fun alone. I am a very social person and enjoy the company of others. I am extremely loyal, and have been known to put others before myself.. I am working on that..
I work in the visual effects industry and have probably worked on things you've seen. I say this, and yet I am not sure it describes me well. I am not passionate about my work. I thought it was a good idea when I was 18 and now I am just going with it. I am still trying to find what it is that I AM passionate about.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I would like to meet someone fun and exciting. A good conversationalist. Likes movies. Likes to go out. Someone that doesn't make a big deal about me being a vegan! haha

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I am looking for someone to love, and someone to love me for me. I have all the time in the world to figure out what comes next, but, right now, I want a first date.

What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
When I was 10 I decided that I didn't like the idea of killing animals. I still don't, but are more reasons I have since learned about. Health and environmental sustainability. This is why I have since become vegan. Along with having watched horrible videos of the horrors chickens and dairy cows go through.
I feel a lot healthier since becoming vegan and also eating organic foods.

I grew up in New England. (that's northeast usa ;) Small town, lot's of trees.. I miss trees..

hm.. that's a later story..

well if I was already on the island, it doesn't sound like I would have a way of getting these things.. and if I am not already on the island then, I wouldn't go.. or maybe this means, I am on the island and I am being rescued, what things would I take from the island. In that case it would clearly be Wilson, my pocket watch, and a FedEx box with wings on it.

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
better than it was, but still not good. I have been riding my bike and doing yoga to try and trim down. Exercise has never been fun for me, as I have always been overweight.
