I currently work with people that are homeless with mental health needs.

My past volunteer / job experiences teaching HIV/ Life Skills with the Peace Corps in Swaziland Africa, worked at shelters. One of my most amazing experiences was getting involved with an alternative to violence workshops at CO and CA state Prisons. I also been involved with a disability rights group because I feel it is an oppress group that is not paid attention to. I am a non materialistic vegan who loves animals and hates shopping. I have never owned a car . I enjoy veggie potlucks, veggie restaurants, social justice conference, getting involved with community service. I have a bit of a travel bug in me, I went on exchange to Australia for 10 months. Of course, I appreciate museums, concerts, wacky festivals, plays, independent movies and I can play the guitar (not well). I value having good health and I jog, swim, and hike.. What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
I became vegan beacause of ethical resons when I was 11. I felt guilty about animals being killed for my meals.

I enjoy jogging and swimming. I used to do Brazilian Ju Jitsu. I would love to train again.
