i'm a philosophy professor, interested mainly in ethics. i spend a lot of time writing or reading. i love music, mostly indie/punk rock, but also 80's and other stuff. i play guitar and sing. i'm also artistic and do things like paint on occasion. i like science fiction. i'm a little obsessed with the TV show LOST. other random things i like: dancing, coffee, boggle and scrabble, bowling, bikes, being affectionate.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
i just want to meet a cute, awesome vegetarian/vegan girl that i have stuff in common with, that i can get to know and, hopefully, become really close with. i have not been able to find this. i am open to getting to know someone long-distance over email.

What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
i don't think it is right to take the life of another conscious, feeling being, especially for the purpose of eating its flesh. this includes "humane" forms of raising/slaughtering animals. you are still taking away a being's life, which is cruel and selfish.
