What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
when i first realized that we are eating our relatives who have equally complex nervous systems

how they are really killed in factories is much more brutal than most can imagine, no sentient being should have to suffer this to become some menu option

also, the fact that meat is linked to cancer: we throw off our natural hormonal balance by eating other living hormone-producing creatures

many scientists I know think vegetarianism is a wise decision to make since most do understand how our bodies function on a biological level

environment: huge amounts of greenhouse gases are also emitted from factory farms

What is your favorite Vegetarian food?
many indian dishes, i also really love quiches and currently have a thing for sesame noodle salad

I like to take a lot of walks, and swim, snow/ water sports etc.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
Science- medical researcher, genetic diseases, animal rescue, also work with disabled individuals, also I'm a student. I was a nurse for a year before going back into research.

Yes I love it, even if it can be difficult at times.

I also have two awareness sites for the Canadian seal pup slaughter and one about China and their many dark secrets.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
SO MUCH! Traveling, crazy random nights out doing whatever with friends, live music, anything outdoors and anything to satisfy my curiosity, I don't mind getting lost sometimes just to have an adventure. I also like to write and am working on my first children's book.

What do you hate doing?
Standardized tests. Trying to educate ignorant, stubborn and cruel individuals who refuse to even consider what is really going on, right before their own eyes.

I'm from the woods, literally. Lot's of wildlife where I grew up.

Saving those in need, and not just humans. My respect for all life and determination to help people understand what we are doing to our planet and those we share it with.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Not sure where to begin, ummm lying in the middle of a road when I was a kid, maybe that wasn't daring but, just stupid haha

wild? hmm we also used to push shopping carts with our car bumpers around in parking lots when we were bored.

What terrifies you?
not much anymore, maybe just ignorant people with guns

my kittens, a wonderful man, and lots of avocados, limes, and cilantro for guacamole! Sorry that's a little more than three and I left out a blender I guess I could use shells to mash it up.

Animal rescue certainly keeps me in shape with all of the lifting of heavy traps and such.
