Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
I have been a vegetarian since 1992 & currently in the proocess of converting to strictly vegan. But just as I became a vegetarian, the switch to veganism will not be difficult at all. Once aware of the atrocities in the dairy & egg industries, there was an immediate shift in my view of these "foods" & I know with the utmost certainty that I want to be a vegan for life.
I have both a BFA in Graphic Design & an MS in Computer Security. I am interested in many other fields of study, however, & I love to write. I love music, especially the blues, singer-songwriter, indie, punk, alternative. Plan to relearn the piano & learn the guitar in the near future! I also love to travel.
What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I am liberal in my beliefs & politics. I am looking for a man who is preferably vegan or at least vegetarian to share my life with. Someone who is self-aware, with a sense of responsibility to educate others that consumption of animal products is directly supporting unspeakable cruelty, serious environmental damage & the obesity epidemic.
I am looking for someone who is passionate, intense, true to himself & loyal to others. Someone capable of keeping up with me mentally is a must, as I have an IQ of 145. I am looking for a relationship with physical, mental, emotional, moral, sexual & intellectual chemistry. A sharp wit, giving heart, great sense of humor (dark and sarcastic), excellent communication skills, creativity, chivalry & personal sense of style win me over!
And foreign accents slay me ;-) I would love to move to the U.K. or anywhere in Western Europe, so if you are there (or from there), please consider me. I am more than happy to relocate!
What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I am looking for a long term relationship or marriage with someone who shares my passions for animal rights, health & nutrition & environmentalism. I believe that a soul mate is not only your lover, but also your best friend & shares your philosophies in life. This is the kind of relationship that I want.
I have never planned on having children. It would have to be a very special person and under very special circumstances for me to even consider the idea, but I might be open to discussing it if you are truly my soul mate and we can afford it.
BTW, I have a 7 lb. poodle named Fiona that I love dearly. Unfortunately, I am somewhat allergic to animal dander & fur from shedding breeds. I love ALL animals, but I am limited as to which ones I can share a bed with ;-(
What made you choose Vegetarianism as a way of life? What impact has it had on your life?
The meat, egg, and dairy industries are all incredibly cruel to animals. The inhumane brutality of factory farms makes me very angry & sad. Besides, eating corpses is repulsive. It sickens me how the industry hides its processes, blatant animal abuse & health hazards. It is bad for our health, bad for the environment, and completely unnecessary to consume animal products. I simply choose not to contribute to the needless and senseless violence in this world. Maybe one day, the rest of "civilization" will evolve above its current state of selfishness to realize that we do not own animals, we share a planet with them. It is not our right to enslave, torture, or murder them. Might does not make right. I want no part of it.
What is your favorite Vegetarian food?
I love Gardein frozen entrees. I also love Lara Bars. And salads and freh fruit, of course! As I am trying to convert to veganism, I know I will probably have to cook a lot more, as many prepackaged foods are made with dairy and/or eggs. But that is okay - I look forward to discovering many new foods, as well as the karma boost I will feel by further increasing my efforts to end animal cruelty.
Would you like to share a great (easy) Vegetarian recipe?
Maybe later ;-)
Do you follow any other healthy lifestyles (yoga, etc.)?
I try to. But I need to get more in the habit of doing it regularly. I used to own a pilates machine, but sold it recently. Now I want to learn yoga, as well as possibly sign up for some dance classes!

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I enjoy writing and graphic design. I am also trained in computers, and can do some light programming. I would like to learn more. I have always wanted to act, dance, or be a musician. Maybe I will get a chance one day. I also enjoy working with animals.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Watching movies, taking my dog to the dog park, playing with my dog, writing, social networking, listening to music, singing, Goth culture, Halloween, napping, watching my fish, relaxation, pilates/yoga, collecting imagery, photography and video, drawing, 420, massages, sex (if you're good at it!)
What do you hate doing?
Being stuck in traffic or in line, sitting on hold on the phone, listening to children cry or beg for stuff they want, listening to people who are drunk or incessantly on their cell phones talking about stupid trivial shit, listening to Republicans, moving, basically anything noisy or forcing me to be around brats or stupid people.
Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I was born in Las Vegas, NV - but moved to Nashville, TN when I was two. I grew up with my grandparents, never met my dad. I am an only child. I went to college in Tennessee, then lived in Italy, California, Maryland, and back to California again. I am ready to move to the U.K., or anywhere in Western Europe to stay for good. If that is not possible, I will probably move to Seattle or back to Nashville (but only cuz Jack White and my high school friends are there). LOL ;-) I dislike the South, in general. Too conservative, Republican, and religious. Plus, there aren't many vegans and too many hunters!
Do you have pets? Tell about them.
I have a 7 lb. poodle named Fiona that I love dearly. She is fully housebroken, does not shed at all (hypoallergenic), and I have almost completely gotten her to stop her unnecessary barking. She is a little love bug and sleeps in the bed with me. But she is extremely clean, doesn't shed, and has never met a flea (cuz I am a neat freak!) Unfortunately, I am somewhat allergic to animal dander & fur from shedding breeds. Also, the shedding really flares up my OCD! I love ALL animals, but I am limited as to which ones I can share a bed with ;-( I really love aquariums, too. Watching fish swim is very relaxing to me, and since I am a Type A personality, I need all the help relaxing that I can get!
What would you say is your best virtue?
I will have to think about that. I have many good (and rare) virtues. Humility, however, isn't one of them. LOL. I am joking!
What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
I will have to think about that one, too. I will get back to you ^..^
What terrifies you?
I am not a fan of public speaking. Being on stage is very intimidating to me. I think that is one of the reasons I want to be able to do it so badly. It will feel like I have really achieved a level of self-confidence that I have never felt before. It would be a personal triumph - a very liberating experience to be able to express myself through singing, dance, or acting and actually enjoy performing. That is one of my biggest dreams - to express myself on stage without fear, but rather with a sense of personal empowerment, self-expression, and freedom.
If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
My soul mate, my dogs (I would need more than the one I have now, so that if we were stuck there for the rest of our lives, we could always have a dog - kinda the Noah's Ark concept, you know?, and obviously water/food to sustain us. That is all I really need. But it would be great to bring my iPod, as well ;-) I loooove music!
Your ultimate intimate dinner party would include which 3 guests (dead or alive)?
Jack White, Fiona Apple, and Audrey Hepburn (just so long as Fiona and Audrey had no intention of stealing Jack from me. Maybe it would be safer to invite three men. In that case, Jack White, Hugh Laurie, and Christopher Reeve.
How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I am considered to be height/weight proportionate, and within the healthy weight range for my height. However, I would prefer to be thinner. I would like to lose at least another 20 lbs. A size 4-6 is a good size for me (and the size of most of the clothes in my closet), although I would be thrilled if I could get down to a size 0 or 2. I mainly stay in shape through a very healthy diet and calorie restriction. I prefer low impact exercise, such as walking my dog, pilates, yoga, dance, and swimming.
While looking at a person’s profile, following the picture, what are the first things you look for?
What Kind of Relationship They Want, Personality, Morals, Ethics, Intensity, Passions, Values, Diet and Fitness, Interests, Talents, Sense of Humor, Lifestyle, Taste in Music/Movies/Books.
What else should we know about you?
