-Shoot 1000 free throws all by yourself at a good wood court private gym and perfect your shooting form until the basketball automatically returns to you; until the basketball bounces back to you through the net which slows the motion of the ball, allowing it to bounce back to your position at the free throw line after each shot.

Its all about the form (feet slightly less shoulder width apart with right foot slighty ahead of left, very important), timing, focus, and hand positioning, bending the knees slightly, and following through with the right wrist. Don't bounce the basketball before shooting, just position your hands-- left thumb three inches up and two inches left from the right thumb. Grip the basketball lightly, hold the basketball at waist level, lean forward slightly just before shooting motion. Its all about the form, focus, hand positioning, bending the knees slightly, guiding the shot with the left hand and following through with a smooth right hand wrist flip, extending and holding the follow through up after the shot, raising up on the balls of the feet just as you shoot. After 1000 free throws, and you perfect the shot so that the ball automatically returns to your position at the free throw line, more often than not, directly to your hands, you enter an unusually calm and focused 'Zen' state, and get a mild upper body work out. Takes about an hour or so.

Born and raised in SE TX, lived and worked on east and west coasts many times, most of my life. Returned back recently. I'm tired of the rat race.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Traveled alone at age 19, moved to LA to live with only $1000 in my pocket, with no place to go, and no contacts when I arrived. I have done this many times to try and make a life for myself as a young man. My family never believed in me, didn't think I was worth sending to college. So I have been on my own since I was 17.

What terrifies you?
Growing old all alone.
