Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
Los Feliz, Farmer's markets, rooftops, Any place that serves Lagavulin. Banana Leaf has fantastic Singapore food. LACMA, Dresden Room, Hermosa Beach, parks, dives and swank bars--I live across from the House of Young Dong but I've never dared go in.
favorite things:

The sun, friends, family, talking, laughing, generosity, Beatles, love, Vertigo, reading, painting, Pad See Yew, Gado-Gado, art, design, Gore Vidal essays, Moby Dick, spur of the moment misadventures, museums, and acting like an idiot:)
last read:

Just finished Washinton Square--what a great novel, read it! Fabric of the Cosmos, a science book about, well, everything. The Onion's Our Dumb Century is essential bathroom-guest reading, I'm re-reading Campbell's Creative Mythology for the movie.

Finishing my no-budget feature film, singing, plays, driving 'round California, Sequoias, traveling, doing anything original, running, drawing, writing, crosswords, carousing, spending time with my great friends, creating--anything physical...
my job:

My bill paying job is working as head of admin. for an auction house but my real job is completing on my feature film--and for way too long before that was in the talent agency business.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I'd like to meet someone smart, good-hearted, has some spark to her, is witty, interested in art, who likes staying in and going out. "You don't have to be rich to be my girl" but it would be nice to find some soul connection even in this crazy wilderness that is LA. Someone to go to bars and coffee shops with and steal beautiful weekends away from the madness of LA. If you're passionate and have a great heart and a nasty sense of humor, if you have an infectious love of life, then--ah... there's really no way to talk about all this sincerely without repeating every cliche I've ever heard about what anyone wants from true love. Most everyone you'll be looking at on this site wants something similar (thos of us who aren't looking for a one night stand). Most of us are here because we want to find someone who feels right for us, someone who'll watch our back, and who makes us want to be better and do better, someone who'll make us a little happier and who we might make a little happier too. Chemistry's all important--though I don't necessarily believe in chemistry on a first date--these first meetings are too awkward to hope to set the world on fire. You know... a nice smile is a good enough start...

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
Someone for the long term, ideally. I'd love a soul mate. But I'm realistic enough to be happy with anything that comes along that's wonderful--whether it's a long slow burn or a brilliant flash that's great while it lasts.

Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
My bill paying job is working as head of admin. for an auction house but my real job is completing on my feature film--and for way too long before that was in the talent agency business.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Finishing my no-budget feature film, singing, plays, driving 'round California, Sequoias, traveling, doing anything original, running, drawing, writing, crosswords, carousing, spending time with my great friends, creating--anything physical...

What do you hate doing?
Even if it's something I'd otherwise enjoy doing, I hate having to do something--I work well with a gun to my head but I don't enjoy it.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I come from beautiful and narrow-minded Ft. Walton Beach, Florida on the Panhandle, near Pensacola and Panama City. Nick-named the Redneck Riviera, more part of the deep south than part of the Miami/Palm Beach scene.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
Nope. And they're great! I'm godfather to other people's pets though and I'm a loving caregiver. One of my best friend's dogs is Sadie, a beautiful mutt who's just stopped chewing everything in sight.

What would you say is your best virtue?
My capacity to love.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Uhhhhh... ask me.

What terrifies you?
These are getting personal:) Dying without doing what I was put on Earth to do. The fate of mankind. Oh, and frogs--phobic about frogs, don't know why.

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
Well since you didn't place any of the regular limitations I'd take a fully functional and crewed yacht, gardein fake chicken breasts from Whole Foods, and a beautiful, passionate, intelligent lover. Then I'd send the yacht away for a month.

Your ultimate intimate dinner party would include which 3 guests (dead or alive)?
Jesus Christ, Buddha, and John Cleese.

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
Good shape. Walk fast and hard a lot, city walk, hike. Lift weights. Run around, jog some. And whenever I'm making a movie I get more of a workout than a marathoner

While looking at a person’s profile, following the picture, what are the first things you look for?
Good question. What they read is sometimes misleading but more often than not a good indication of how well we'd click.

What else should we know about you?
"I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die."
